By downloading or using the Lore app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the app

Lore grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not misuse the app, attempt to access it by unauthorised means, or use it in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. Subscriptions

Lore offers a premium subscription at £2.99/month (founding member price, subject to change). Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple's App Store. You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, journal entries). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to display it within the app for your personal use. We do not use your content for marketing purposes without your consent.

5. Adventure content

Adventures listed in Lore are provided for informational and inspirational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or availability of any adventure. Always exercise your own judgement and take appropriate safety precautions.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and software associated with Lore (excluding user-generated content) is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lore is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or participation in any adventure.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
